Dear friends! I’m Suhaina Fazil, mom of a four year old girl, the soul behind ekal.online. It is my pleasure to share my healthy and flavourful recipes for your wellness journey. My aim is to inspire you to a healthy lifestyle through flavourful recipes, tips and tricks for it. From authentic Kerala dishes to various multi cuisine recipes with minimal changes in its ingredients, way of cooking and quantity of the ingredients .
I love to cook since my primary classes, started with a salad. Then weekend breakfasts to weekend lunches. It is after my marriage “The journey to my cooking world” really started. My recipe tester, cheerleader and my biggest supporter -My husband , Fazil. The detailed reviewer, who constantly motivates me to cook and create new recipes. At one point we decided to switch into healthy eating lifestyle. Thus started creating my own healthy recipes. Here we are sharing our absolute favourite recipes for you. Lets explore the vibrant mix of flavours and healthy eating lifestyle.
Main changes we took for a healthy lifestyle:
- Zero sugar in our diet
- Use less amount of oil ( preferably coconut and olive oil)
- Completely avoid junk food
- Less carbohydrates in the meal
- Add more proteins
- Drink atleast 3 liters of water daily
- Included fibre rich foods
- For rice intake ,use basmati rice
- Get enough sleep
- Workout for 1 hour ( with personal trainer)
- Sunday no workout
- One cheat day in two weeks
