Low Calorie Pasta
- Cleaned prawns – 150 grams
- Garlic chopped- 2 tablespoons
- Capsicum chopped – 1/4 cup
- Onion chopped – 2 tablespoon
- Wheat flour – 2 tablespoon
- Milk – 1 cup
- Oregano – 1 1/2 tablespoon
- Cooked wheat pasta- 1 1/2 cup
- Butter – 2 tablespoon
- Chilli flakes – 2 teaspoon
- Pepper powder – 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
METHOD
On a pan heat 1 tablespoon of butter then add prawns to it. Cook for 3 minutes on both the sides and keep it aside. On the same pan add 1 teaspoon of butter and add garlic .Saute it for 1 minute then followed by onion and capsicum, saute it for a minute. Then add wheat flour to it and combine it well. To this mixture add milk slowly and whisk it without any lumps forming a thick sauce. To this sauce add oregano, chilli flakes, pepper powder and salt according to your taste. Finally add prawns and cooked pasta to the sauce and cook for 2 minutes. Creamy prawns pasta is ready to serve. NB: On reheating add lukewarm milk to adjust the consistency.
